The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is open to all children and teens younger than 19 regardless of immigration status who meet income and other criteria. This includes children and teens:

• With Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and those previously only eligible for emergency OHP (i.e. CAWEM) and

• Who live in families that earn up to 305% of the federal poverty level. As an example, in 2019, children and teens living in a family of four that earns up to $6,545 a month qualify.

OHP is free health coverage that covers the health care services children and teens need to thrive including, but not limited to: check-ups, vaccinations, mental health care, tooth fillings, glasses and prescriptions. It also covers labs, x-rays and hospital care. It even pays for rides to and from medical appointments.
