Cadets,
Each summer, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) sponsors a popular series of Junior Rifle Camps and Clinics to teach intermediate and advanced rifle marksmanship skills to junior shooters and their adult leaders. Camps are open to any and all entrants. All camps are one week long except for the Standing Camp. Camp.https://thecmp.org/youth/junior-air-rifle-camps-and-clinics/This year, Camp Perry, Ohio,o is hosting Summer Rifle Camp 29 June - 3 July. Additionally, for cadets who have already attended Rifle Camp, cadets may attend the Standing Camp from 6-7 July.
As in the past, if we have more than five cadets, we reserve housing on- or off-base as a group. A female parent chaperone would be required to attend with us if we go as a group.
Cost of camp is $430 per cadet.
Dear Families,
The U.S. Navy will conduct its annual inspection of the Grove City High School NJROTC Program on Wednesday, January 28th. This inspection is a crucial part of our program, ensuring that our cadets meet the high standards the Navy sets. After the inspection, we will hold the Pass-in-Review Ceremony, celebrating the cadets' hard work and dedication.
Every cadet will be inspected in uniform and demonstrate their ability to perform basic military drills and marching maneuvers. To prepare for this inspection, NJROTC students will be excused at 13:35 PM from all classes on Tuesday, January 27th, to practice as a unit. On Wednesday, January 28th, NJROTC students will be dismissed from 08:00 AM - 12:35 PM for the inspection. Your cadet's attendance at this event is mandatory.
Family and friends are invited (strongly encouraged) to attend this year's Pass-in-Review Ceremony at the Grove City Recreation Center after the unit inspection. Parents and guests will not attend the inspection event. Following is the schedule of events:
0800-1030 - Inspection by Commander Mike Robinson, NJROTC Area FOURTEEN Manager
1030-1045 - Parents and guests arrive Grove City Recreation Center
1045-1145 - Form Up/Parade the Colors
Platoons Report
National Anthem / Post Colors
Remarks / Recognition of Awards
Drill Performance
Honor Roll Awards
Guest Inspector Remarks
Pass-in-Review
1145-1230 Lunch in the Recreation Center (Pizza and Cake), Photos, Mingle, etc.
I hope to see you on January 28th at 10:45 so that you may witness the accomplishments your cadet has made in the NJROTC program. This event is not just about inspection and ceremony but about celebrating our cadets' hard work and dedication. It is a time of joy, pride, and reward. You can support your cadets by helping them get their uniforms squared away for inspection and assisting them in preparation for knowledge questions the inspecting officer will ask. Your support and presence will make this event even more enjoyable and rewarding. We sincerely appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you there.
Cadets and Families,
Get ready to cheer on the Grove City NJROTC Color Guard! They've been invited to present the Colors at the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game at Nationwide Arena on January 24, 2026.
We invite all cadets and their families to join us for this special night. You can purchase specially priced tickets for both the lower and upper bowls. Even better, a portion of every ticket sold will directly support the GCHS NJROTC Booster Club.
Come out to watch our Color Guard perform, enjoy a night of hockey, and support our program!

Families and Cadets,
This summer, in support of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization, we raised funds once again for the DAV Field of Flags. Our goal was to hit $250 to secure 24 flags that will proudly stand in front of the school during the week of Veterans' Day.
We doubled that amount by raising $510! Now we would like to triple our goal.
As we return to school and approach Veterans' Day, we would love to raise even more donations so we can fill the front of Grove City High School with American flags to salute our veterans and make a truly impactful display!

Grove City NJROTC Field of Flags Fall Fundraiser
Each flag represents one veteran - and our unwavering commitment to serving all veterans after they've sacrificed so much for our country.
All donations raise critical funds to support DAV (Disabled American Veterans) life-changing services for veterans in need and their families.
Will you join us?
