UNIFORM POLICY: Wearing the NJROTC uniform properly one day each week and taking care of the uniform develops responsibility, attention to detail, pride, and leadership among cadets. Uniforms will be worn on Wednesdays. There are no excuses for not wearing the uniform, except for cadets participating in athletic team dress or school spirit days (cadets must get prior permission). Cadets who do not wear uniforms on uniform days must wear the uniform within the next two school days. It is the cadet’s responsibility to set up a meeting time for uniform inspection. Cadets who do not wear the uniform as prescribed shall receive zero credit. Non-compliance should be reported when observed and will be formally tracked by the cadet staff. If a cadet continues to fail to wear the uniform or misses uniform inspection, the following procedures will be followed after each failure to wear the uniform / missed inspection:
a) The Platoon / Class that the cadet is attached to will lose their Friday PT/Fun Day
b) Cadet’s Parents / Guardians will be called / emailed to address the failure to comply with the NJROTC Uniform Policy
c) If three inspections are missed, Cadets will be required to attend a meeting with Asst. Principal to determine if cadet should remain in program / steps to correct actions
d) If four Inspections are missed, Cadets may be dismissed from the program per Asst. Principal / Principal determination
