Each year, the Texas Soil & Water Conservation Board has a conservation contest, in which each local district like us submit our nominees for Conservation Farmer, Conservation Rancher, Conservation Teacher, Conservation Forester, and Friend of Conservation from our district to the regional judging. Winners of the five regional contests are submitted to the TSSWCB for a state winner.
