Opportunities for Involvement in Your Local Working Group, Thursday, May 28, 2026

We need your input! The Fiscal Year 2027 Local Working Group (LWG) listening session is coming up on Thursday, May 28, 2026.  The LWG, hosted by the Bastrop County SWCD, seeks public recommendations on local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs.

The session will be held at the Bastrop Community Center, Multipurpose Room A  15 American Legion Drive Bastrop, TX 78602.

This input helps determine collaborative efforts for natural resource priorities and identifies opportunities to address them with conservation practices that improve soils, watershed health, and biodiversity. 

The formal LWG committee will meet as part of the session. Individuals interested in participating as returning or new members of the LWG committee are asked make their interest known by email or by calling the number below. LWG participants do not have to join the committee; all are welcome to provide public input.
