Curriculum statement

Physics is about understanding the physical principles of the universe. It explores the rules and laws that relate the very small up to the very large. It uses critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills to develop and test theories about how the world around us works. It uses both verbal explanations as well as mathematical descriptions of phenomena to both understand and predict outcomes. Experiments can test and verify hypotheses, as well as open new boundaries. It forms the foundation for all scientific advances and technology breakthroughs; be this landers on Mars, cutting-edge medical techniques or the discovery of fundamental particles. It is simply the coolest subject!
