Curriculum statement

Chemistry is all around us and teaches pupils to think both logically and critically and build answers to questions independently, using their foundation knowledge and taught processes. Chemistry is a practical subject, by its very nature, which helps to support and reinforce the pupils’ knowledge and understanding from the taught lessons and their own research. Chemistry is also a well-respected subject because it develops problem-solving, independence, resilience and a realistic understanding of Society and how Chemists can work together to improve this.
