Week of May 11th, 2020
Hey guys, We're adding a really important song today - The D Major Scale. That's playing all the notes we've learned from lowest to highest then back again. This is a warm-up that will be used in year two of Violin. I hope you are all doing wonderful.

Week of May 4th, 2020
Hello my violin people, We're learning three new notes today that we'll be using in all songs for the rest of the year - B, C sharp, and high D. The video is below.
If you rented from Goulet and have decided to return your student's violin, you can drop them off on Thursday, May 7th at Brown during your student's assigned time to pick up their belongings. Hello! We're continuing to make progress on combining the bow with the left hand fingered notes (E F# G). We'll add 3 songs to our repertoire this week and practice switching our right hand from Arco to Pizzicato and back again
