By the end of Trimester Two, students will be able to:
Use place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit arithmetic, focusing on multiplication and division (up to four digits by one digit multiplication and division, and up to two digits by two digits multiplication).
Use the four operations with whole numbers to solve problems (focusing on multiplication and division).
Extend understanding of fraction equivalence and ordering.
Build fractions from unit fractions.
Add and subtract fractions on a line plot. Make a line plot to show measurements involving fractions.
Show a fraction with a denominator of 10 as an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 100 in order to add the two fractions.
