Ms. Lamoureux Grade 4 STEM

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Welcome back! We are pleased to have your child on our fourth grade team. It is going to be a very productive and challenging year for your child. We look forward to working with you to make it a success. This year, Mrs. Pascarella is teaching Literacy and Social Studies. Ms. Lamoureux is teaching Math and S.T.E. (Science, Technology, and Engineering).

Below this letter is the Grade 4 supply list for our classes. We appreciate any donations of classroom supplies that you are able to provide (our biggest necessities are tissues, Clorox wipes and EXPO markers).

We will be keeping in touch with you throughout the school year and welcome your notes, calls, and emails at any time. Besides emails, we will be communicating with you through Class DoJo! This is a place we can send information out, communicate back and forth, and post pictures of all of the exciting things we are doing in our classes. Communication is one of the keys to your child’s success. We look forward to meeting you at the Open House on Thursday, September 17^th. Here’s to a wonderful year!

Supply List for the 2020-2021 School Year

Due to health precautions, this year we would like all students to be able to have their own personal supplies without sharing. Below is a list of items that would be beneficial for your child to have. Please follow this list, as lists you may find in stores are not always accurate.

Using a permanent marker, please label all of your child’s supplies with their name before they are brought to school. Please organize all supplies into your pouch BEFORE the first day of school. Please place any extra supplies inside a labeled gallon-sized ziploc bag to be stored at school.

Materials:

One large pencil pouch
One box of Ticonderoga or Mechanical Pencils
Pencil Topper Erasers
Five or more dry erase markers - preference black
One clean sock or mini whiteboard eraser to use for white boards
One package of highlighters
One box of crayons (12-24 pack)
Two small covered pencil sharpeners
One package of glue sticks
One pair of children’s scissors
One package of pens
Sticky notes

One, 1 inch binder with inside pockets (Literacy)
Five composition notebooks (Math, Science, Social Studies, Readers, and Writers)
Three folders (Math, Science, and Social Studies)
Personal Choice Reading Book
Headphones (will remain in backpack for home use as well)
One face mask
Towel to sit on outside (will not be shared with others and will remain in students’ backpack until it’s used) A bath towel would be a good size and must be able to fit in your child’s backpack.
Refillable water bottle (not glass) because bubbler will not be used
