ARTICULATION
Here is a list of age norms that your son/daughter should have in their repertoire. Note that these articulation errors must make a significant impact on their speech intelligibility in order to qualify for direct speech services in the school setting. One or two articulation errors does not necessarily mean that your son/daughter needs direct school speech services but may in fact need supplemental help/assistance. This is just a guide to help you see what sounds should be in his/her repertoire at what age.
