Mission

The Parent Teacher Forum (PTF) collaborates with Swampscott High School (SHS) faculty and staff to enhance students’ educational experience and build a strong, supportive community.  During meetings we plan events for student and teacher enrichment and build community through discussion of issues surrounding school life.  Featured speakers have included school administrators, adjustment counselors and department heads.  

Throughout the school year, the PTF sponsors various initiatives and events such as:

Funding is needed to accomplish our mission.  Primary sources include:

• Annual family membership dues

• Proceeds from sales of Big Blue merchandise

• Occasional fundraisers such as restaurant fundraisers, auctions or raffles
