Course At a Glance

Our curriculum is aligned with MA Science and Technology and Engineering Framework, which can be found here.

Assignments are leveled based on the depth of knowledge the assignment requires to demonstrate understanding of a topic.

Grading will be split up into three categories:

- Tier 1- 45%: Tests and projects.
- Tier 2- 30%: Quizzes, labs, and mini projects.
- Tier 3- 25%: Homework, science starters, in-class assignments, and binder checks.

Expectations

I do not offer quiz or test redos.
It is the student’s responsibility to check Google Classroom every week and keep up with missing work.
Students will not be eligible for extra credit assignments if there is missing work.
Late work: All missing assignments will go into Google Classroom as a zero. Students have 3 school days from the assignment due date to arrange a work completion plan or the grade will stay a zero.
Submitting any work that is not in your own words is considered to be plagiarism. Copying homework, cheating on a test, and copying and pasting directly from AI, the internet or a publication are acts that constitute this offense. There are consequences for any student who has been found to participate in any capacity in these activities.
