Blood Donation Drive
Sinarmas World Academy held a Blood Donation Drive in collaboration with Palang Merah Indonesia on 9 January 2026 as part of its ongoing commitment to community service. The event brought together students, parents, teachers, and staff in a shared effort to support those in need. A total of 64 participants registered with the intention of donating blood during the drive. After undergoing the mandatory health screening conducted by Palang Merah Indonesia, 34 donors were deemed eligible and successfully donated their blood. Although not all volunteers passed the screening process, every participant showed a strong sense of empathy and social responsibility.Β
The activity also helped raise awareness about the importance of maintaining good health for safe blood donation. The donated blood will play a vital role in supporting hospitals and patients who require transfusions. The event was carried out in an orderly, safe, and positive atmosphere. Special appreciation is extended to the Parent Association Group (PAG) for their meaningful support. PAG thoughtfully provided nutritious supplements for the donors, including bananas, milk, and light snacks. This collaborative initiative highlights the strong partnership between the school, families, and the wider community in making a positive social impact.
