We are thrilled to share some exciting news from the world of mathematics and computing! Our students recently participated in the prestigious Canadian Mathematics and Computing Contests, organized by the University of Waterloo, Canada.

Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests

The Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC) and Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC) offer a challenging yet enjoyable environment for students to develop their mathematical problem-solving abilities. The CSMC is designed for Grade 11 and 12 students, while the CIMC caters to Grade 9 and 10 students.

International Chemistry Quiz 2023. RACI, Australia

Our students recently participated in the ICQ (International Chemistry Quiz), organized by the RACI (Royal Australian Chemical Institute). Horse Riding Competition

Congratulations to Adriana G8, who achieved 3rd place in The Jakarta Masters 2023, CSI 1*-W Fei World Cup Jumping SEA League Leg#3 (Final). This competition took place in Arthayasa Stables, Jakarta, on 13-17 December 2023.

10-10 WORKOUT

Are you worried you gained a lot of weight during the holidays? Don’t fret, because SWA Moves has got your back.  Here is a 10-minute, 10-exercise workout routine to help you kickstart your road to a healthier you post-holiday.

Now this will not guarantee that you will lose all the pounds you gained over the holidays, but we can tell you that this will satisfy your daily movement goal if you plan on getting back in shape after the holidays. 

This is a 10-minute exercise using 10 movement exercises that will work out your whole body. To do this exercise you will need a timer, a space to do your movements, and some music to get you into the groove.

HOW TO DO THE EXERCISE ROUTINE:

• Set the timer to 10 minutes. You can use your phone, tablet, or TV, as long as it is visible  and clear

• For each minute, you will do 1 type of exercise

• For beginners, you can do the exercise with maximum effort for 30 seconds then take a rest for the remaining 30 seconds. For intermediate to advanced levels, do 40 seconds of workout then 20 seconds of rest

• Do the following exercises:

The key here is to do all the exercises at your maximum effort. So for 30 or 40 seconds, you have to do your best. Do this every day, and see your progress by increasing the intensity of your workout as each day passes. Let’s get back in shape to kickstart our new year!
