WHOLE SCHOOL
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations, VEX IQ ES & MS Robotics Teams!
Written by Dr. Haoken
Our VEX IQ ES and MS teams returned from Thailand buzzing with ideas and hardware upgrades after an unforgettable Mix & Match debut. This year’s game asks alliances to build Stacks out of Pins and Beams, then place them in Goals - with bonus points for connected elements, multi-colour stacks, and stacks that match the Goal colour. Drive Team Members feed extra Pins from the Load Zone, so fast cycles and clean handoffs matter more than ever. Our VEX IQ Elementary team clinched 5th position at the Thailand Mix & Match meet - an outstanding result in a highly competitive field.
VEX IQ ES Team: Timofei, Haejin, Edward
VEX IQ MS Team: Darrell, Aradhya and Huda
Across teamwork matches, Driver Skills, and Autonomous Coding Skills, our students showed real engineering: reliable intakes for Pins, grippy manipulators for Beams, and consistent placement routines under pressure. Many used the season’s Hero Bot “Huey” as a springboard - then iterated beyond it with improved gearing and better weight distribution. The road ahead is clear and exciting. The teams are now preparing for the VEX IQ Indonesia National Final on 24–25 January 2026 - with sights set on qualifying for the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri in April 2026 at the America’s Center Convention Complex.
Huge thanks to our coaches, families, and partners for tireless support. Keep cheering as our builders refine autonomous paths, tighten cycle times, and push Mix & Match scores higher. Thailand was just the warm-up - Nationals next, then Worlds!

Our Elementary students had a wonderful Library Club season this semester! Throughout the sessions, students explored different library skills, learned how to take care of books, even found good fit books through the library catalog independently!
The highlight of this month’s activities was the Young Librarians Club pin ceremony. Each participating student proudly received their Young Librarian pin, recognizing their enthusiasm, commitment, and growing confidence in library skills.
We’re so proud of their progress.
