SWA Wins Best Sustainability Initiative Award at EDUtech Asia 2025!
Written by Dr. Haoken and Mr. David
A huge congratulations to the SWA community! Sinarmas World Academy has won the Best Sustainability Initiative (K–12) Award at EDUtech Asia 2025 on 6 November 2025 in Singapore.
The award recognises OceanVoyager, a student-led project from our RoboKnights programme. Centered on a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV), OceanVoyager supports coral-reef restoration by enabling students to conduct reef checks, document conditions, and inform restoration work with local partners in Bali.
OceanVoyager sits alongside a vibrant ecosystem of sustainability and community engagement at SWA: student-run recycling and upcycling drives; mangrove and coastal clean-ups; energy-audit challenges; climate-literacy workshops; and collaborative projects with local and community leaders. Together, these experiences help our students develop empathy, leadership, and the habit of purposeful action - the heart of CAS and the SWA learner profile. We’re incredibly proud of our students; their innovation, teamwork, and stewardship show what it means to turn learning into real-world change.

SWA 18th Anniversary Celebration
Written by Mr. David
SWA is officially 18! On Saturday, 1 November 2025, we celebrated our birthday with an unforgettable day of fun, community, and competition, all guided by our theme: "Unshaken, Unmatched, Unstoppable!"
Our campus was alive with excitement as students and parents teamed up to compete in a huge variety of games. We loved seeing the friendly competition in the Basketball Dad tournament, the speed of Macan Unleashed, the fast-paced badminton games, and the big splash from the water tank, canoeing, and the fun minute-to-win challenges!
From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter and incredible school spirit. A huge thank you to all the students, parents, and staff who made our 18th birthday so special. Here's to many more years of being Unshaken, Unmatched, and Unstoppable!
