CSR: Distribution of Basic Necessities
On 9 October 2024, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event was held at SWA, focusing on the distribution of basic necessities (sembako) to the local community. This initiative aimed to assist the residents around the SWA area, particularly those in RT 10, RT 11, and RT 12. Packages were also randomly distributed to street sweepers, waste collectors, and other community workers. Some students joined the event, further enhancing the spirit of community support.
The CSR event successfully addressed the basic needs of both the local residents and workers, reinforcing community relations and supporting those who contribute to the cleanliness and safety of the area.
SWA Students Shine at Sinar Mas Digital Day 2024 with Groundbreaking Projects
At Sinar Mas Digital Day (SMDD), themed "Stronger Together, Smarter Tomorrow", SWA students showcased their commitment to innovation and sustainability. SMDD emphasises collaboration across Sinar Mas’ diverse business pillars and aligns with Indonesia's Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision, fostering smart solutions for a prosperous future.
Our students presented four remarkable projects, including the RISE Global Scholarship-winning Zenith Charge System and TriRise Labs. OCEHID offers renewable energy for sustainable cities through ocean tides, while Ocean Voyager is a remote-operated underwater vehicle designed to explore and preserve marine ecosystems.
The Zenith Charge System focuses on sustainably re-powering agricultural vehicles, improving safety for farmers. TriRise Labs, a B2B software company, helps local businesses scale, using its profits to support disaster-affected schools in Indonesia.
SMDD provided an incredible platform for students to demonstrate their forward-thinking ideas, showcasing the power of collaboration in driving innovation for a smarter tomorrow.
