Oliver Shines on Ice, Claims Gold at City of Heroes Tournament

Oliver (G10) delivered a standout performance at the City of Heroes Ice Hockey Tournament in Surabaya from September 5th to 7th, showcasing remarkable versatility and resilience by competing in two separate divisions.

In the highly competitive Open division, Oliver joined the Panthers team. Displaying significant confidence and determination, he fearlessly faced adult players, holding his own and proving his capability on the ice against more experienced competition.

In the Recreational division, Oliver teamed up with the Golden Cobras, where strong chemistry with his closest teammates was on full display. The team’s exceptional cooperation culminated in a thrilling championship final. Oliver and his teammates worked seamlessly together to secure a hard-earned victory and claim the championship medal.

Oliver's ability to excel in both a high-pressure individual challenge and a collaborative team environment highlights his passion for the sport and his significant growth as a player.

Maurice's Clutch Performance Earns Bronze and Best Forward Award in Taipei Debut

Maurice (G7) made an impactful international debut at the Taipei Cup Ice Hockey Tournament, held at Taipei Arena from September 3rd to 6th. Competing in his first tournament in Taiwan, he played an essential role for the Seals U12 team.

Maurice truly shone during the high-stakes bronze medal game. With the team trailing in the final minute, he scored a crucial goal in the last 30 seconds to tie the match and force a thrilling shootout. Displaying remarkable composure under pressure, Maurice then delivered four consecutive goals during the shootout, single-handedly steering his team to secure the victory and the bronze medal.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions throughout the tournament, Maurice was also presented with the prestigious Best Forward Award for the U12 division. His performance highlights his skill and ability to deliver in critical moments. Congratulations, Maurice, on a spectacular achievement!

Darren Secures Silver at JNY CUP!

A huge congratulations to Darren of Grade 11 for his outstanding performance at the recent JNY CUP! 🏸

Darren demonstrated incredible skill, agility, and determination on the court, battling through fierce competition to earn a well-deserved silver medal in Men’s Badminton. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport.

The entire SWA community is incredibly proud of this accomplishment. Well done, Darren!

We help you take the stress out of planning your child’s weekly menu by allowing you to simply order from the SWA food service. With the tasty and healthy choices available in the SWA Canteen, students can easily buy food and enjoy school meals.

We are ready to serve you starting at 07:30 a.m. To preorder from our menu at this link, please fill out the order form by Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m at the latest. Payments can be made using a school ID Card or QRIS.
