EYES
TODDLER – Literacy

Our toddler class had a wonderful time revising the letters, /s/, /a/, and /t/. We began our lesson by listening to the story "Five Apples", which captivated the children's imagination. Following the story, the little learners eagerly identified familiar items starting with our focus sounds, including a slithering snake, a busy ant, a crawling spider, and a slow turtle. Creativity flourished as the toddlers created their very own colourful apple trees by hand-painting bright green leaves and sticking vibrant red apples on them. To reinforce letter formation, they practised tracing /s/, /a/, and /t/ before freely scribbling shapes and patterns on a sensory tray filled with soft salt. It was a delightful day of active learning!
NURSERY – Mathematics

Our Nursery friends have been having fun exploring mathematics through colours and shapes. They discovered the magic of mixing primary colours to create secondary colours and watched in wonder as new colours appeared. Our little shape detectives also went on a hunt around school, spotting circles, squares, and more. They then used their discoveries to create colourful patterns and designs together. The classroom buzzes with excitement as they celebrate each other's colourful creations. What a joyful way to learn mathematics through exploration and creativity! 🌈✨
PRE-KINDERGARTEN – Understanding The World

Over the past few weeks, our Pre-K students have been learning about the members of their family as part of Understanding the World. Through songs such as “Family Song” and “Family Fingers,” the children explored and identified different family members in a fun and engaging way.
To make the learning more personal, the students created their own picture frames using popsicle sticks and a variety of craft materials. They decorated their frames creatively before adding their family pictures. To wrap up the topic, the children took part in a special Show and Tell, where they proudly presented their family members and those who are important to them. It was a lovely opportunity for the children to celebrate their families while building confidence in speaking.
K1 – Indonesian Language

Our K1 students had such an exciting time learning about the Five Senses (Panca Indera) in their recent Indonesian Language class!
The children energetically sang “Kepala, Pundak, Lutut, Kaki” while pointing to different parts of their bodies. To deepen their understanding, they practiced with a fun sorting game. Each child received a card with an object and decided which sense they would use to explore it. They confidently matched the objects and proudly shared their answers, like, “We use our nose to smell the flowers” (Kita pakai hidung untuk mencium bau bunga).
To wrap up the lesson, the students created colorful Five Senses Puppets using plastic plates. What a fun and meaningful way to explore our senses! ⭐
K2 – PE

Our K2 students have been having fun developing their fundamental movement skills in PE! We started our lessons with simple warm-up activities to help students prepare their bodies for movement. Students then explored basic movements such as walking, running, balancing, skipping, and galloping through fun and engaging activities.
Through these experiences, students are developing their coordination, balance, body control, and spatial awareness, while also learning to follow simple instructions and move safely. It has been wonderful to see our K2 students becoming more confident, active, and excited to move!🌟
G1 – Science

🐞 Little Habitat Explorers: A Grade 1 Adventure!
Grade 1 students became little habitat explorers! 🌿🔍 Armed with curious eyes, they explored the school field, playground, maze, Koi pond, and garden, searching for plants and animals. 🐛🌸🐟 At each stop, students became nature detectives, observing where living things live and comparing which areas had the most plants and greatest variety of animals. Along the way, they discovered that habitats provide essential needs such as air, food, water, shelter, and safe places to raise young. They even fed the Koi fish and learned why animals need food to survive!
The adventure also introduced gardens, trees, rotting logs, ponds, beaches, and tropical rainforests, helping students discover how living things depend on their environments. 🌱🐝✨
G2 – Bahasa Indonesia/Civics

In Grade 2 Indonesian Language Acquisition, students explored the topic of Berkenalan by creating their own All About Me lapbook. This hands-on project encouraged them to practise introducing themselves in Indonesian while building confidence in using new vocabulary.
Students filled their colourful paper laptops with personal information, favourite things, and details about their families. As they wrote, decorated, and organised their ideas, they strengthened their writing skills and learned how to share meaningful information about themselves in Indonesian.
It was wonderful to see their creativity shine as each project reflected their unique personalities. 🎨 We are proud of our young learners for taking another confident step in their Indonesian language journey! 🇮🇩
G3 – PE

Grade 3 students have been developing their flexibility, coordination, balance, and agility through a variety of PE activities!
Students began their lessons with stretching and warm-up exercises, preparing their bodies for physical activity and learning the importance of getting ready before exercise. They then explored different agility ladder movements, practising footwork patterns while focusing on coordination, balance, speed, and body control. Through these activities, students are learning to move with greater control, confidence, and awareness of their bodies. They are also developing their ability to follow movement patterns and stay focused while completing different agility challenges.
It has been wonderful to see our Grade 3 students actively participating, challenging themselves, and building their movement skills through PE! 💪
G4 – PSD

In Grade 4 Personal and Social Development (PSD), students embarked on a meaningful journey of self-reflection by creating their own self-portraits. Observing themselves through their device cameras, they carefully drew what they saw, discovering that a visual image only captures the surface.
To go deeper, students looked within to identify and write down their key strengths alongside areas they hope to improve. This engaging task helped them realise that genuine self-awareness requires understanding both their outer appearance and their inner character.
Their thoughtful insights and artistic efforts were truly inspiring as Grade 4 students grew in confidence and developed a deeper appreciation of themselves!
G5 – Korean Language

🌱 In the new school year, Korean language lessons are focusing on communicating thoughtfully and considering others’ feelings. Students have explored different everyday situations through conversations with the teacher, practising how to respond appropriately by paying attention to words, expressions, and emotions. They have also read short conversations and used context and clues to infer what was not directly said.
Through these activities, students are developing not only their Korean communication skills but also the importance of listening, empathy, and consideration in everyday conversations. They are gaining confidence in using Korean to express their thoughts and understand others in meaningful situations.
