Behind every achievement is a journey of dedication, commitment, and sacrifice. We celebrate our students for going beyond what is expected and embracing opportunities to grow, learn, and challenge themselves. Their journey is made possible not only through their own determination, but also through the unwavering support of parents, who invest their time and effort to provide additional training, experiences, and opportunities outside school. While the path may require sacrifices along the way, these efforts are truly worthwhile. Every challenge overcome and every extra step taken contributes to their growth, resilience, and success. Today, we recognise and celebrate our students and families for their dedication, perseverance, and willingness to go the extra mile.
Celebrating Excellence: SWA’s Outstanding 2026 Grade 10 Personal Project Results

Sinarmas World Academy is incredibly proud to celebrate an exceptional set of results from our May/June 2026 IB Middle Years Programme (Grade 10) Personal Project cohort.
All 29 registered students successfully completed the Personal Project. The cohort achieved an impressive average grade of 5.69 out of 7, compared with the worldwide average of 3.80.
The results reflect the remarkable strength of the cohort:
17.2% achieved the highest possible Grade 7.
58.6% achieved Grade 6 or above.
93.1% achieved Grade 5 or above.
100% achieved Grade 4 or above, resulting in a 100% pass rate.
The MYP Personal Project is the culmination of each student’s Middle Years Programme journey. Students transform a personal interest into purposeful learning through independent research, creativity, action, and reflection while demonstrating essential Approaches to Learning skills.
These exceptional results represent months of dedication, perseverance, and personal growth. We warmly congratulate the entire cohort and sincerely thank the Personal Project supervisors, teachers, and parents for their invaluable guidance and support.
This is a truly outstanding achievement and a proud moment for the whole SWA community. Congratulations to all our students!
Liam Earns Two Platinum Awards at IMPAF 2026

Grade 1 student Liam achieved two Platinum Awards at the International Music Performing Arts and Festival (IMPAF) 2026. He received a Platinum Award for his ABRSM Grade 1 vocal performance of Where Is Love? from Oliver! and another for his performance of You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban in the Free Selection category for ages 7–9. Congratulations, Liam, on this fantastic achievement!
Sidney Earns Silver at SIAT 2026

Jordan Recognised for Excellence at Model United Nations

Grade 9 student Jordan earned a Verbal Commendation at a Model United Nations (MUN) competition. Through active participation, thoughtful discussions, and effective collaboration, Jordan demonstrated strong communication and diplomacy skills throughout the event. Congratulations, Jordan, on this well-deserved recognition!
SWA Basketball Team Earns Silver at Santa Ursula Cup

Sinarmas World Academy’s basketball team delivered a strong performance at the recent Santa Ursula Cup. SWA secured dominant victories over Dian Harapan (84–9) and Santa Ursula (69–9) before advancing to the final against Canisius. After a hard-fought match, SWA finished with a 45–58 score, earning a well-deserved Silver Medal. Congratulations to our student-athletes for their outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament!
SWA Volleyball Teams Excel at SPH Kemang Village Volleyball Cup

Sinarmas World Academy’s volleyball teams delivered an outstanding performance at the recent SPH Kemang Village Volleyball Cup, with both teams securing podium finishes. The Boys’ Team claimed 1st Place, while the Girls’ Team earned 2nd Place after a strong tournament run. Congratulations to all our student-athletes for their dedication, teamwork, and competitive spirit!

We are pleased to share another new addition to our library collection donated by our teacher Ms. Fiona for historical fiction, The Songbird and The Rambutan Tree, signed by the author herself, Lucile Abendanon, and also from Mr. Billy for the realistic fiction book The Distant Forest on The Cliff, written by his brother Ben Guan Teck Loong.
