Congratulations!

IGCSE 2024 Results

SWA congratulates the students who have successfully completed the IGCSE 2024 series with outstanding results.

Any student who takes an IGCSE subject gains a qualification recognized globally, and we are especially proud of this year’s achievements. Andrew achieved a remarkable feat of securing straight A*s in all seven of his subjects.

We also extend our applause to Janice, Audric, Jacob, Aradhya, Ryan, Jessica, and Trevyn, who earned the prestigious International Certificate in Education (ICE) Distinction Award in addition to their commendable test scores.

Congratulations once again to all students, their teachers, and parents for their support in achieving such exceptional outcomes, paving the way for exciting future opportunities.

WRO National - Surabaya 2024

Congratulations to SWA's young innovators for their achievements at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Indonesia Round 2024 in Surabaya last week.

SWA Roboknights Jr., featuring Liam (G3) and Haejin (G4), secured 2nd place in the Elementary Category with their "Tsunami Emergency Smart Kit". This innovative tool enhances safety during emergencies with its water level sensor and GPS and GSM module, which helps prevent people, including those with disabilities, from getting lost by tracking their location and sending SMS alerts.

In the Junior Category, Carlos (G9), Samarth (G9), and Ruoyi (G8), with their SWA Ocean Voyager, a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) prototype designed to navigate around oil rigs, also achieved 2nd place. This ROV is specifically engineered for remote operation without the need for a person on board, significantly improving the safety and efficiency of underwater exploration.

At SWA, we continually encourage students to unleash their ideas and innovations to address real-world issues.

Celebrating Our JMUN 2024 Delegates

Our school is thrilled to highlight the remarkable achievements of eight outstanding students who recently participated in the Jakarta International Model United Nations (JMUN) 2024. The SWA delegation consisted of: Jaeyi, Tegar, Adhisya, Nicole, Aimee, William, Jay. Known as one of the largest and most prestigious MUN conferences in Indonesia, JMUN brought together young leaders from around the world for an enriching experience from 23 August to 25 August 2024. Since its inception in 2011, JMUN has established itself as a premier MUN conference in Indonesia, attracting over 300 delegates from across the globe. This year, JMUN returned with the theme "The Global Enlightenment: Advancing Initiatives for a Better Tomorrow," encouraging participants to contribute to shaping a brighter future. 

Congratulations to all of our delegates who had active participation, especially Jaeyi who was awarded the honourable mention award for her outstanding performance in the World Water Forum Committee.

Adriana Horse Competition

Congratulations to Adriana who won various achievements in Piala Menteri Pertahanan Republik Indonesia Aragon Merdeka Master 2024 Dressage Show. This competition took place in Hub Indonesia, Cibubur, 15 August 2024.

She won 2nd Place in both the Elementary Class U21 and the Medium Class Open U21.
