The EHS Drumline serves as the percussion section for the Tiger Marching Band. The Drumline has a class of its own to focus on techniques specific to the marching percussion idiom. Anyone with percussion experience can sign up for drumline. Placement on instruments is based upon an audition as well as the student's attitude, work ethic, and what best fits the ensemble. Returning drumline members are required to re-audition for instrument placement.
Drumline clinic and placement auditions will take place in the EHS Band Room, typically in the middle of the spring semester. This year's clinic and audition isscheduled for March 30th and April 6th. Students are expected to learn all exercises and have preliminary understanding of all parts (Snare, Tenors, Bass, Cymbals) of the cadence below. While clinic attendance is highly recommended, students who are unable to attend the clinic and placement audition have the option to upload a video of themselves performing the material using the form below.
