Hello friends, my name is Mrs. Jodie Walizer and I am from the Mill Hall area. I have called this part of Clinton County my home for my entire life. I earned my first Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Lock Haven University in 2000. I was a Family Counselor for six years before returning to Lock Haven University in 2006 to pursue my second Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I hold PA teaching certificates in Elementary Education (k-6), Middle Level Mathematics (7-9), Middle Level and Secondary English Language Arts (7-12). I earned my Masters Degree in Alternative Education from Lock Haven University in 2014. In addition, I am currently taking classes toward a Doctorate Degree at Liberty University.
My teaching career began during the 2008-2009 school year at Sugar Valley Rural Charter School where I continue to teach middle and high school English Language Arts. I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I have been writing since I was a teenager and have had some of my poetry published in various anthologies. I enjoy all genres of literature and have a particular soft spot for William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe. I look forward to being your teacher this year and hopefully in the years to come!
