 The history of the Electrical Engineering Society at SVNIT Surat is likely to be tied to the history of the Electrical Engineering program at the institution. It is a society founded by some students and faculty members to promote research, education, and networking opportunities for students and professionals in the field. EES played a significant role in providing opportunities and objectives to its executive. Members of EES are linked worldwide with many esteemed organizations and government bodies.
The first inaugural seminar of the ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY was held on 6th March 2014 in the Staff Club, SVNIT Campus, and the first recruitment interview of the ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SOCIETY was held on 4th April 2014.
