Hello! My name is Taylor Szatko and I am the 7th grade physical science teacher here at Sauquoit Valley Middle School.


The 2023-2024 school year will be my first full year as a Sauquoit Valley teacher. Last year, I was a long term substitute teacher for 7th grade physical science. I am so excited to be back!


I received my Bachelor in Science (B.S) in Biology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in May 2021, where I also studied both health professions and education. I received my Masters of Science in Adolescence Education (M.S.Ed) from St. Bonaventure University in May 2023. I am certified to teach Biology, with a general science extension. I grew up in Marcy, NY, and graduated from Whitesboro High School in 2017. 


My favorite part about being a science teacher is helping young scientists grow!
