Our Classroom
Hello! My name is Tonya Sullivan and I have been a special education teacher at Sauquoit Valley for 19 years. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education and a master's degree in literacy. I am married and have three children. Working with children is something that gives me a lot of joy and I can not wait to see what this year brings!
My classroom is made up of students from multiple grade levels. The time a students spends in my room is individualized. We work towards grade level curriculum standards as well as foundational skills that will support the grade level standards.
Every student will be working on and towards their individualized goals with myself and my teaching assistant Mrs. Forbes. We work on teaching and applying strategies that will help each student become more independent and successful in the classroom. My classroom is flexible and always open to new ideas to support the needs of my students.
I look forward to partnering with parents to help make your child's school experience the best it can be!
