SVC Concert Band

Grades 9-12

Concert Band is the main instrumental performing ensemble in the high school. Band members rehearse every day,and in some cases, every other day throughout the school year. There are also group lessons which take place on a rotating basis during the school day which all students are expected to attend. Successful completion and participation in this ensemble will result in 1 or 1/2 credit respectively for each year of participation.

Intermediate Band

(Grade 6)

Intermediate Band is made up of all 6th grade students studying instrumental music. Band members rehearse on every day 1, 3 & 5 throughout the school year. There are also group lessons which take place on a rotating basis during the school day which all students are expected to attend. Successful completion and participation in this ensemble will result in 1/2 credit for each year of participation.
