Grading Policy

Grade Breakdown: 

Essays and Assessments: 30%

Writing and Projects: 30%

Quizzes: 20%

Classwork: 20%

Work is expected to be turned in on time.  Work can be corrected to increase a grade depending on the assignment.  Work can only be corrected if turned in completed and on time. 

*Homework is not a separate grade category. Most homework assignments will be to finish what was started in class, or may be reading assignments that will be assessed through classwork or quizzes. 

If a student is caught cheating or plagiarizing, their grade on the assignment will be a 0 and parents/guardians will be contacted.
