Our Classroom Expectations
Having 41 minute periods for science, we need every minute. Therefore it is important that students follow some basic expectations. We want fifth graders to take pride in their learning and work, which is an easy way to remember the basic expectations expected of a fifth grade student.
P – Prepared
Come to class with what you need and be ready to learn.
R – Respectful
Treat others, yourself, and your school with respect.
I – Instructions
Listen, follow directions, and stick to routines.
D – Do Your Best
Give your best effort, even when the work is challenging.
E – Engage in Learning
Participate, stay focused, and persevere.
These ensure that students are being respectful, responsible, and safe in order to create a positive learning environment and community for all.
