Classroom Expectations
My goal this year is to help the students in my classes become better mathematicians and critical thinkers. In order to do this, each student must do their part. 5th grade has 5 basic expectations throughout all the classrooms. These expectations will help to ensure a positive and beneficial learning environment for all. Our expectations are:
P – Prepared
Come to class with what you need and be ready to learn.
R – Respectful
Treat others, yourself, and your school with respect.
I – Instructions
Listen, follow directions, and stick to routines.
D – Do Your Best
Give your best effort, even when work is challenging.
E – Engage in Learning
Participate, stay focused, and persevere.
Absences
If a student needs to be absent from class, the student should contact the teacher(s) in order to arrange a method to complete the missed work. This includes absences due to band lessons.
