Class Information

This course will cover the foundational topics needed for Algebra I, preparing students for the Algebra I regents next year. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to: simplifying expressions, solving equations and inequalities, functions, systems of equations, linear equations and graphs, exponent properties, and statistics. The course will cover the beginning of Algebra I to prepare students for the regents exam the upcoming year. 

Students will work on the important components of the Algebra I curriculum to help them prepare for the Algebra I regents. Topics that will be taught include but are not limited to: simplifying expressions, solving equations and inequalities, functions, systems of equations and inequalities, linear equations and graphs, exponent properties, and quadratics.
