The experience that I gained during this project was exponentially valuable to me. In my preparation to become an educator, I have learned many things about teaching and leading during lectures,. However, my project provided me with something that no lecture could: real experience. The great thing about this is that even though my project wasn't perfect, I was still able to learn so much from it. I made many mistakes during my project while trying to do what I thought was best, but even those mistakes benefited me by helping me to see what methods do and don't work when leading and teaching.
Throughout my project, I was able to see my own personal growth as well. I learned from my mistakes and from my successes, and through this experience I was able to continually improve my teaching and leadership skills. This is going to greatly help me as I pursue a career in education and as I take on future projects.
I can honestly say that doing this project was a great benefit for me and those whom I was able to help, and it was also a great joy for me. I rarely felt like my project was a burden because of how much I enjoy teaching, leading, and helping others. Through the experience from this project, I will surely continue to grow in the field of leadership.
