ADDITIONAL LIBRARY PROJECT

OBJECTIVE​

Students will design an addition and partial renovation for a small community library. The project aims to explore how architecture can support evolving community needs while respecting existing character, scale, and context. The design should reflect both the library’s civic identity and its role as a flexible, welcoming public space.

Students will propose a thoughtful architectural intervention that increases program capacity, improves circulation, and enhances the building’s environmental performance - while maintaining the charm and integrity of the existing structure.
