SUPPORT US!!

Dear Friend of Education:

We'd like to invite you to be a part of EdCamp Madison (WI) by being a sponsor.  This year, our event will be held Saturday, January 28th, 2023 and THIS year we want to honor our educators so our theme is SUPERHEROS!!  Please join us in making this event EXTRA special!

If you haven’t heard of EdCamps, they are what many educators say are the most meaningful professional development they have ever received. Why is that?

Attending an EdCamp is unique. Participants are empowered to propose their own session ideas and to learn from each other about topics that are meaningful and relevant to each individual educator. They are sometimes focused on educational technology, sometimes on pedagogy, on educational leadership, on literacy, on struggling learners, or on any topic that is timely and meaningful to attendees. Each EdCamp is different because the attendees are different. Sessions are not proposed until that morning. Many of the sessions will involve educators sitting around, sharing their best ideas, and collaborating with others both in and outside of their own school districts. In addition, EdCamps tend to draw the best and brightest educators, because they are done outside of school hours, often on a Saturday. Thus, each teacher is essentially donating their time, because they know that what they will learn will reap huge dividends in the classroom.

The event is entirely organized by volunteers whose sole purpose is to create a wonderful experience for every participant. There is no cost for participants to attend and, thanks to the generosity of sponsors like you, we hope you can help us to provide free breakfast, lunch, and snacks. In addition, we would also like to provide an opportunity to extend the collaboration at an after party where the focus becomes more about relationships than content. While we will not have vendor booths at this event, there will be many places where we will make your sponsorship visible. When you buy a sponsorship, you’re contributing directly to this experience. Here is what you get:
