We believe that when teachers are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support they need, every student is empowered to reach their fullest potential. Our vision is to provide a high-quality, aligned curriculum that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, while cultivating engaging classrooms that prepare students to thrive academically, socially, and as leaders in their community and beyond.

The mission of the Sunnyvale ISD Teaching & Learning Department is to ensure that Raiders Rise through:

Building Teacher Capacity by providing ongoing professional learning, collaboration, and coaching that strengthen instructional practice.

Ensuring a Quality Curriculum that is rigorous, aligned, and relevant to prepare students for future success.

Enhancing Student Engagement by designing student-centered learning experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, collaboration and ownership of learning.
