NHS will award $2 million to a total of 600 scholarship winners!
Senior members of an active NHS chapter who are in good standing are eligible to apply for an NHS Scholarship.
NHS Members must create a student account before they can access the NHS Scholarship application.
The NHS adviser must verify the student’s membership before the student can begin the application.
Verified NHS members may start the NHS Scholarship application beginning on Septmeber 3.
All applications require two recommendations, and certification by the NHS adviser in order to be considered complete. Incomplete applications are not evaluated.
Make sure to contact your recommenders and ask them for the information they will need to write your recommendation.

Submissions are DUE: 5:00 pm PST on November 20, 2026
Senior members of the Sunnyside High School NHS chapter who are in good standing are eligible to apply. This means you must have attended meetings, participated in selling during both fundraisers and have no fines, and must be able to attend in person if selected for an interview.
You must access the scholarship application online in Google Classroom from your advisors. Fill out the form by the given deadline and turn in.
Late submissions will not be accepted, as the applications will be passed to the faculty council for review.
Link to the scholarship will be provided in March.
You must interview in person and in front of the Faculty Council.
Date of interviews will be decided at the time the application is available.
March 5, 2027: Application available
3:00pm on March 26, 2027: Application due
April 12-23: Faculty Council review
April 28, 2027: Interviews
