YOU are responsible for taking care of all graduation requirements. If you fail to do so, you are putting your graduation at risk. It is YOUR responsibility to keep up with this important information. Updates will be made through the REMIND texting system and then updated here. Directions to join REMIND can be found on the Senior Homepage. 

All fees, Chromebook, textbooks, etc. need to be paid in full by May 13, 2026. This includes library and school fees. See Mrs. Hodge on D-Hall downstairs to pay your fees.  Our last collection of fees will be on May 15, 2026 by 2pm. If fees are not paid in full, students can not participate in the graduation ceremony. 

Participants in graduation are required to have purchased a cap, gown, stole,  tassel, and diploma cover from Rhodes Graduation/Jostens. You will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony without the proper graduation attire. Payments and additional information for graduation supplies can be made at www.RhodesGraduation.com. 

Students that qualify for academic cords, medallions or stoles, military cords and career center cords will receive those items at graduation practice. STUDENTS MAY NOT WEAR CORDS OR STOLES THAT ARE NOT ISSUED OR APPROVED BY THE DISTRICT.  Please check with your club advisors for list of approved cords/stoles.

If for some reason a senior has not satisfied all credit requirements May 15, 2026, students can continue enrollment for coursework during the summer and participate as a 2026 summer graduate. Students must be verified as meeting all attendance and course credit requirements to participate in Spring graduation. 

If you have a guest who will need handicap/special seating, please complete form: **Special Seating Request Form

Please log into Student Portal and check the spelling of your name.  It's important that you consult with your parents/guardian before requesting a change. Your name should replicate what is on your birth certificate. If for some reason your name is misspelled or missing the suffix, please let Mrs. Scriven know at your earliest convenience. You can also fill out this form. 

Transcripts:

If you are attending a college in the Fall, you will need to order your final transcript through Parchment (www.parchment.com). If you have already created your account, then follow the attached instructions below to order your final transcript. We will only be sending final transcripts through parchment.

If you have never created an account, then go to www.parchment.com and create your account so we will be able to send your final transcript. 

Please DO NOT use your student email for that account but use another email that you will have after you graduate. Your sumterstudents.net account will be deactivated after you graduate.

If you have a parchment account, then please change your email to another email if you have used the sumterstudents.net email. 

Remember that we will not send a final transcript to a college unless you order it on the Parchment account. If you are still unsure of where you are attending, then Parchment will let you select more than one college.  If you have questions, email your school counselor.

If you are ordering a Final transcript, it will not be ready until a week after graduation. You can go ahead and put a hold for grades as the instructions tell you.
