*Does the library have this specific book I'm looking for?

• Maybe! You can search the library catalog (Destiny)  to find out.

• Click here and log in with your school-issued Google account or go to LHS Website > Look under Quick Links > Media Center > Destiny Discover.

Can I request a book be added to the library?

• Yes! If you would like to see a book or series be added to the LHS library, you can fill out a Google Form to request it. We will look into it and do our best to order what students want!

Is there a book club I can join?

• Yes! Once a month, the Books and Brunch Club  will meet to discuss what they've been reading over a light snack.

• If you are interested in joining, stop by the library or email the school librarian, Mrs. Howard at sonja.howard@sumterschools.net.

When I was in elementary school, high schoolers came to my  class to read to me. Can I do that now that I'm in high school?

• Yes! This club is called Literacy Express and will welcome new members to join at any time.

If you have filled this form out in the past, you do not need to submit it again. You will receive an email to let you know when a field trip is coming up!

My School ID does not scan to open the school doors.  What do I do to fix this?

• Fill out this Google Form or come to the library to fill out the form there.

• You do not need to leave a message for Mrs. Howard.  Once your form is submitted, she will send your information to the appropriate department.

I lost my School ID.  What do I need to do to get a new one?

• Fill out this Google Form or come to the library to fill out the form there.

• You do not need to leave a message for Mrs. Howard.  Once your form is submitted, your ID will be made.  You will either be called to the library to pick it up or it will be brought to you. 

Chromebook Issues:

• If I am unavailable, fill out this Google Form. The form is also located on a Library Computer.
