It's the beginning of a new year, and Dymond, Mr. Smith and Xander show off their stylish swag. "I was excited and happy to start my new year at Snowy Peaks."
SPHS all-stars Kasandra and Steph prove the line from Ratatouille is true: "Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist can come from anywhere."
Drea, Dymond, and Jasmine collectively assembled a tent for a nature activity that was moved inside due to weather. "It was a lot harder making the tent inside!" Jasmine said.
Nate D., Nicole, Jasmine, and Desi show the camera some love before knocking over some pins! Nicole said, "It was really fun to hang out with all my friends and just relax for a little bit." Jasmine added, "It was nice to spend time with friends outside of school, but bowling is very hard."
On a night in January, Anna and Dymond had a sleepover at Anna's house. "We stayed up until 4 AM just hanging out and in this picture Anna tried to put my hair in a bun and couldn't," Dymond commented.
Chris, Alan, and Robb play blind-dodgeball as part of Orientation. Chris said, "That day was a lot of fun. We played lots of games for the intro into the school year. I enjoyed playing blind dodgeball, princess-cowboy-bunk bed, and mostly goofing around."
During a Friday arts activity, Shirley and Drea try their hand at jewelry making. Shirley exclaimed, "It was fun. I got to do something I had not done before."
Bryan made a flames key chain at Arts Alive in Breckenridge. He said, "I just dropped 60, man I feel like Kobe."
Students pose for a picture at Arts Alive where they were making masks. Celena said, "It was pretty fun because I like making masks. One time we used gauze and it was very creative."

One sunny summer evening, a young Tristan and his Mom and sisters took a photo in front of their house. Tristan said, "I wish I could relive this day!"
Cristal and Michael Jurado were at Rainbow Park. IT was on a sunny fall day and they were there because it's fun to go out. "You are art, said Cristal.
Jezzy hugs her giant teddy bear on the first day back from winter break. Jezzy noted, "We somehow lost that teddy the same day. Also, that sweater makes me look like I'm in a 70s sitcom."

Akhmad, like usual, shows how he is one of the most stylish students at SPHS.

Max B. lets out his inner rock star for the New Years back to school photo. "It looks like he grabbed everything and put it all on" Celena said.
Although it took a while to get them into the shot, Judith and Anna took a photo during orientation. "Marion didn't ask me for my permission," said Judith.
Mike and Nate K. show off their new tattoos. "I got my tattoo because it was hard watching my dad be sick with cancer. When he passed it hit me hard, so we got them as a tribute to him and my mother, who survived hers," Mike said.
SPHS heads to Hacienda Real in Frisco to eat some delicious Mexican food. These gentleman enjoyed the food and goofing around. "It was some good food," Tristan exclaimed.
At the end of 3rd quarter, SPHS goes to the movie theater to watch Hidden Figures. Nate K. said, "The movie was good and showed a lot about women and technology."
Akhmad, Acsiri, and Iris go to eat Mexican food after they took an important test. This was the first time Akhmad ate Mexican food, and he said, "It was good, but my favorite food is still fish and rice."
In December, the teachers made a choice to take students on a mandatory Friday activity. After a while, Acsiri, Cristal, and Marion took a picture where Iris covered her face wishing not to be shown.
Marion, the token Jew of SPHS, dressed up as Santa Claus for Christmas. Polise later sat on his lap and told Marion what presents he wanted that year.
JoePo shared his Bitmoji to show his obsession with food. "If God dwells inside of us, like some people say, then I hope he likes street tacos, because that's what he's getting."
Jezzy shows off her inner sassy model during an Arts Alive activity. "I was trying to do my art when they interrupted me!" Jezzy announced.
JoePo and Marion, goonin' as usual, were trying to impress Ms. Moore with their carpet shredding. Marion exclaimed, "I wish Max Johnsen was here to show me how to shred properly!"
Bright and early, SPHS had breakfast before students took an important test. "The teachers are great chefs," Ava commented.
One afternoon, Smith brought his daughter to run around SPHS. Daniel Chavez said, "She's walking already!? It's been a minute!"
Skyler cruises down the ice with a big smile on her face. "Skyler looks happy," Skyler said in the third person.
Dymond and Desi embrace in a friendly hug. "It was my second time skating. Nobody lost a finger and I'm glad to have had this experience with all these wonderful people," Dymond said.
Chris and JoePo practice their moves while ice skating with the school. Chris said, "JoePo was a great skater while I struggled."
At the end of April, SPHS teachers were bowling at the staff appreciation party. With their small staff, the yetis still managed to walk away in 2nd place! "We are awesome," Coach Dye said.
Max was ice skating and was looking like a lion in his first attempt at dreads. "Robb Magee is the devil. He tagged me while ice skating," Max exclaimed.
Alex shows off his inner Blades of Glory while skating at the Breckenridge Ice Rink. "It was so much fun. I wish we could go again," said Alex W.
Always one to make people laugh, Jacob uses an ice walker that is way too small for him.
Best friends Tanya and Kasandra have a blast ice skating with SPHS. "I don't ice skate very often, but when I do, I like to skate with Kasandra Perez," Tanya said.
