Is that Bill Nye the Science Guy? No! It's Eduardo and Nicole conducting a fiery experiment. Both have proved themselves to be exceptional, hard-working students throughout the year, and will inevitably go on to do amazing things.

One Saturday, at a Starbucks in Frisco, Conor Negri applied to Colorado State University, where he would later be accepted like a boss! Marion said, "I usually don't spend the weekend with students, but when I do, it's for college applications."

Judith, Ava, and Cristal draw a person with all the systems in the body. They named it John Pierre Cena but made it look like Kylie Jenner. "It was the most beautiful creation ever. I hope it hangs until the end of my high school years," Ava said.

During a class on the fast food industry in American Literature, students express their creativity by turning healthy foods into art. Cyn crafted some fun fish. "I had fun playing with my food!" she said.

During a lesson about the fast food industry, Brigette crafted a snowflake made of fruit, since it was the first thing that popped into her head. "It was cool," claimed Brigette.

Alex, Cooper, Max, Armando, Jason, and Jacob listen intently to Mr. Smith during a group meeting. "I'm deeply involved with my work," said Max.

Mrs. Moore led a group of SPHS students to Colorado Mesa University, where they look a picture with other students in front of the university's mascot.

During a vocabulary activity, Cyn created an amicable octopus who loves hugs.

While wearing a dope scarf and holding a piece of matzah, Marion teaches his literature class about his Jewish heritage. "I didn't want to eat the salty kale or gefilte fish because it looked gross," Cooper commented.

Nate D., Xander, and Akhmad take their quizzes in World History class. "Just another normal day in history," Nate remarked.

Marion took a photo of Nate K. while he was zoning out and looking at a fidget. "Fidgets help keep me on task," Nate explained.

Although many students were afraid of going to SAT prep class, Alex V. and Anna proved that it's possible to have a good time.

Kasandra shows off her personal project about different makeup and beauty styles around the world. She said, "It was a good experience to learn about something I'm really interested in. I liked trying something different and I enjoyed the project!"

Jezzy shows off her personal project on "EL WIRE" with her Dad walking around in the background. "I made a dinosaur," Jezzy said.

Akhmad sips his lemonade while standing in front of his personal project. He wrote a speech in English, which is his fifth language.

With the school board in attendance, Eduardo shows off his personal project on the new art he taught himself.

Alex V. explains her personal project to guests. Her project was an encouraging mural that will forever be displayed on the SPHS wall.

JT explains his personal project about a business making shirts. He brought one shirt as an example that had an image of a yeti near a mountain and a quote for the senior class of 2016-2017.

Armando admires his own work during the personal project presentation night. "All the work was worth it in the end," Armando commented.

Alan explains his project about learning how to cook. Not only did he have a poster, but he brought pozole for everyone to sample as well!

Jacob presents his personal project about mechanics to other students. "I'm presenting my personal project to fellow Peakers," Jacob remarked.

On the Friday afternoon of May 4, Bryan was presenting his personal project about his shoe company to SPHS graduates and friends of the school. Bryan said, "Entrepreneurship starts anywhere."

For her personal project, Acsiri learned how to do nails, and she applied them to Desi. "I'm not used to getting my nails done!" Desi said.

Steph explained her project about immigration and the challenges individuals face.

For his personal project, Jason worked with his dad and did towing.

A play date occurs with Smith's daughter and Regner's daughter. Both of them appeared to have a great time during senior project night.

During personal project presentation night, Dymond explained about her life growing up and coming to SPHS. "It was a very stressful day, but I'm glad to have accomplished it."

The senior class of 2016-2017 posed for a picture after presenting their personal projects. Eduardo said, "I felt proud to finish the project and I'm glad to be graduating!" Jezzy added, "I look so cute!"

JT, Armando, and Eduardo work on their chemistry lab. "We stirred sugar in water and had a pretty fun time," Armando said.

Sam, Reyes, and Conor look excited as they dominate a science lab together. Teamwork always makes the dream work.

Reyes hand-crafted therapeutic origami stars from colorful pieces of paper and sold them along with pieces of chocolate.

Alex W. also crafted paper products by making unique snowflakes. Armando was interested in them as long as they were GMO-free.

Nicole sold cups of coffee because her family ate her product— delicious Rice Krispies Treats—the night before

Eduardo made colorful Kool-Aid concoctions to sell to the people.
