Classroom Policies
1. Grading categories and weights: Tests - 50%; Quizzes - 10%; Classwork/Homework - 20%; Essays and Projects - 20%. (NOTE: These percentages will change for the marking period in which the research paper is due.)
2. Late work will be accepted for partial credit. It must be printed out and placed in the LATE box on my desk by Friday of the week that it was due, or it can be submitted electronically up to midnight on Friday.
3. If you are absent for a test, it must be made up within 1 week of your return to school.
4. If you are absent from class, you are responsible for obtaining information regarding assignments, test, quizzes, etc.
5. The use of phones is strictly prohibited. Phones must be turned off and kept in backpacks at all times.
