Forensics Science is a broad based science class that relates to physics, biology, chemistry and psychiatry to the law. Students will study crime scene investigation, evidence collection, fingerprints, DNA, blood and blood spatter, anthropology, toxicology, entomology, and death. Students will develop deductive reasoning skills. A variety of instructional strategies, including project based learning, STEAM, hands on activities, and data analysis will be utilized. This document includes the relevant Next Generation Science Standards as well as expanded details on instruction focus, instructional strategies, activities and assessments.
