What is STEAM?

STEAM education integrates the strands of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. This interdisciplinary learning aligns with the way in which we work and solve problems in our daily lives. STEAM creates intentional connections with two or more of these strands, weaving them together to compliment and support each other throughout the learning process. During a STEAM activity, students engage in experiential learning, collaboration, problem solving, and creative processes.
