Jitendra Kumar Singh is Associate Professor & Head, Department of Mathematics, Siddharth University, Kapilvastu. He completed his Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, in 2012. He has been awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by the Council of Scientific Research (CSIR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to carry out his Ph.D work. Jitendra Kumar Singh has been awarded the “Best Mathematical Modeling Team Award” in the International Workshop on “Computational PDE: Modeling and Simulation” organized by the Department of Mathematics, IIT-Madras in 2011. He has been appointed to the permanent position of Assistant Professor at Nagaland University (A Central University), Lumami, and Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevarya University (A State Public University), Bellary. Jitendra Kumar Singh has 12 years of teaching experience and 16 years of research experience. He has published 54 research papers in international journals of repute, presented 27 research papers in international/national conferences, and successfully guided six (06) students for research work leading to the Ph.D. degree. Jitendra Kumar Singh has completed one seed money research project. He is the principal investigator of two ongoing research projects, including one major research project sanctioned by the Council of Science and Technology (CST), Uttar Pradesh. Jitendra Kumar Singh teaches various courses of the UG/PG programme in Mathematics, namely, Hydrodynamics, Analytical Dynamics, Continuum Mechanics, Abstract Algebra, and Real Analysis. He does research in Computational Fluid Mechanics, Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD), Nanofluid flows, and non-Newtonian Fluid flows.
