U-Prep Athletics is meant to provide student-athletes an opportunity to compete while learning the value of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play. As a member school of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF), U-Prep supports the tenets of Pursuing Victory With Honor, we believe that interscholastic athletic competition should demonstrate high standards of ethics and sportsmanship and promote the development of good character and other important life skills. We also believe that the highest potential of sports is achieved when participants are committed to pursuing victory with honor according to six core principles: Trustworthy, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Good Citizenship (the "Six pillars of Character").

The following athletic programs are offered at U-Prep:

Junior High

Junior High sports compete in the following leagues: NVAC, NCAL & Volcano League (XC)

Fall: Cross Country, Co-Ed Soccer, Volleyball, Cheer

Winter: Flag Football, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Girls Soccer, Cheer

Spring: Baseball, Softball, Track and Field

High School (California Interscholastic Federation)

High School sports compete in the Northern Athletic League (NAL)

Fall: Cross Country, Football, Swimming, Girls Tennis, Volleyball, Cheer

Winter: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Boys Wrestling, Girls Wrestling, Cheer,

Ski & Snowboard

Spring: Baseball, Softball, Boys Tennis, Boys Golf, Track and Field, Stunt
