U.S. Military Academies
The United States Military Academies, also called Service Academies, are undergraduate colleges that provide education and training to develop future commissioned officers in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The five military academies are: West Point, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, and Merchant Marine Academy.
Each of the Service Academies provides a rigorous and comprehensive education to its students, offering undergraduate degrees in many areas of study while training them to become leaders and officers within their respective branches of the U.S. military. In addition, cadets or midshipmen at these academies also receive extensive physical and leadership training and extracurricular activities and sports opportunities.
If appointed, students will receive a full scholarship to attend the Service Academies, along with the opportunity to serve their country and develop into future leaders in the U.S. military.

United States Military Academy, West Point
The United States Military Academy, founded on March 16, 1802, is a four-year college that builds, educates, trains, and inspires the Corps of Cadets to be commissioned leaders of character committed to the Army Values and ready for a lifetime of service to the Army and Nation. West Point graduates earn Bachelor of Science degrees and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army.
United States Naval Academy
The Naval Academy has a unique clarity of purpose, expressed in our mission:
"To develop Midshipmen morally, mentally and physically and to imbue them with the highest ideals of duty, honor and loyalty in order to graduate leaders who are dedicated to a career of naval service and have potential for future development in mind and character to assume the highest responsibilities of command, citizenship and government."
Our mission forms the basis for everything we do at the Academy. It also encourages a sense of spirit and pride found at few other schools.
United States Air Force Academy

United States Merchant Marines Academy
We are a federal service adacemy that educates leaders of exemplary character who are inspired to serve the national security, marine transportation, and economic needs of the United States as licensed Merchant Marine Officers and commissioned officers in the Armed Forces.
United States Coast Guard Academy
