About the Teacher 

Hi, My name is Daniele Wilcox. I am excited to be your 2nd grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This will be my 21st year teaching and my 16th year teaching second grade in Spackenkill. My husband, and I have two boys Hunter and Chace and we live in Pleasant Valley. Hunter and Chace keep us busy with sporting events. We enjoy the outdoors and spending time together. I also love to read in my free time. 

I am excited to begin our second grade adventure and to make this the best school year yet!

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Special Education from Marist College in 2004 and my Masters Degree in Literacy from Mount Saint Mary College in 2006. I attained certifications to teach Childhood Education, Special Education and Literacy .
