About the Teacher 

Hi, My name is Daniele Wilcox. I am excited to be your 1st grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This will be my 22nd year teaching and my 17th year teaching in Spackenkill. My husband, and I have two boys Hunter and Chace and we live in Pleasant Valley. Hunter and Chace keep us busy with sporting events. We enjoy the outdoors and spending time together. I also love to read in my free time. 

I am excited to begin our first grade adventure and to make this the best school year yet!

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Special Education from Marist College and my Masters Degree in Literacy from Mount Saint Mary College. I attained certifications to teach Childhood Education, Special Education and Literacy .
