We’ve got mail!

In the age of electronics who would have thought our students would have been this excited to get something in the mail. Todd’s French 8th graders received letters from their French penpals from Marc Chagall Middle School located about 40 miles northwest of Paris in Gasny, France.

Earlier this year we sent out our introduction letters and we have just received our first snail mail response. Students were excited to receive mail addressed to them responding to their French letters in English. Students on both sides of the Atlantic shared about themselves and their interests. We will continue these written letters but we will also be doing some electronic interactive cultural communication as well. Meaningful opportunities to learn about the teenage culture in France.
