Hello students and families! My name is Mrs. Skerritt! I am excited to be your teacher this year! This begins my 26th year of teaching. This is my second year on the AIS team, and I look forward to supporting students in their classrooms. Prior to AIS, I taught fifth grade for many, many years!

When I’m not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family. Mr. Skerritt and I stay busy with our two daughters. Katie is a freshman in college, and Madeline is a sophomore in high school. If I’m not attending their swim meets and sporting events, you can find me reading a book, working in my garden, swimming and taking walks, and cooking. I love to try new recipes! We also added our first puppy to our family,  a mini goldendoodle named Teddy! We love spending time with him, too!

As you can see, I LOVE Snoopy! He makes me feel happy, and makes our room feel cheerful!
