Hello students and families! My name is Mrs. Skerritt! I am excited to be your teacher this year! This begins my 25th year of teaching. I have taught fifth grade for almost all of those years! I am looking forward to joining the AIS team this year,  and supporting students in their classrooms!

When I’m not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family. Mr. Skerritt and I stay busy with our two daughters in high school and all of their activities. Katie is 17, and Madeline is 14. If I’m not attending their swim meets and dance lessons, you can find me reading a book, working in my garden, swimming and taking walks, and cooking. I love to try new recipes! We also added our first puppy to our family,  a mini goldendoodle named Teddy! We love spending time with him, too!

As you can see, I LOVE Snoopy! He makes me feel happy, and makes our room feel cheerful!
